    “Hjk”
Best crying noise I’ve seen in a comic

  2. Aaaw. The fifth panel just makes me want to hug her. SO MUCH.
But I like her dad a lot better than her mom…

  3. D’aw, you know she’s a good kid and wouldn’t worry you on purpose like that!

  4. plusook says:

Oh Bina is so cute ): I’m glad her dad seems like such a good fella.

  5. Wow. I’m glad her dad is so perceptive–he get’s that she’s not just sad like I’m-about-to-be-in-so-much-dagspit. She’s actually had a lot happen to her.

I’m also glad that he is conveniently not perceptive enough to know how completely earth-shattering the past 24 hours have really been. :)

(Although, to be fair, who really COULD, you know?)

    tl;dr
final verdict = pretty perceptive dad

Well said. I’m actually impressed at his about-face between panels 4 and 6. If not educated…I mean dang, it’s like now I’ve realized that in the future I can act like that, if need be (totally change my tone, if it makes sense in the situation). Thanks.

  6. KicktheCAN says:

Is there no archives page for Monster Pulse? I am trying to figure out how I am supposed to find a specific page and I am at a loss. .oi

  7. smjjames says:

Is that the same guy who works for Shell and is a co worker of Wanda?

  8. Nonsensicles says:

Wonder if Dad will notice the cavity in Bina’s chest from hugging her? Either way, this is a good Dad-type moment.

PS- This is chapter 2. *cough*

  9. R says:

    Bina: Fan Count +1!!!

  10. Andrew says:

Daddy’s little girl, it’s touching. Can’t wait to meet you at SPX!

  11. Kafrin says:

I’m really pleased that this is taking place, instead of just a Wendy-goes-to-Neverland scenario where her parents are never mentioned again. She’s a kid, this is how it would really go.

  12. corgisaurus says:

On the one hand, awww. On the other, I’m dreading that Bina is going to keel over any second now if Rixis starts attacking Ayo. Can’t take your eye(s) off the big heart monster for a second without it climbing trees and getting into trouble.
