WTF is Homestuck?
A very long, very interesting webcomic on MSpaintadventures dot com You should look it up. (Though I advise reading problem sleuth first). It can be a little weird at times but it’s a great read.
Also, if you’re going to read, please try to get through Act 1. It can be difficult to get though.
yeah ive tried 3 or 4 times to read home stuck and i havent gotten past act 1….
HomestuckCollab on youtube may help with that then.
They have voice acted (and added extra animations in places) Homestuck right up to Act 4 and then uploaded them as youtube videos
It was a good comic that gradually become a bad one.

Yeah, I read Homestuck, but I hate the fandom right now. Every picture with a male in glasses is all “davedavedavedave!’ I dunno, Homestuck fans are so much ruder than bronies. Abel looks cool in his glasses, all on his own. He is playing that cute, dark, and mysterious vibe so hard.
I really like Bina’s dad’s reaction here. In fact all of the parents we’ve seen so far have been very realistic.
Monster Pulse is a much better comic than Homestuck in any case

I think West has it the worst, really.
Man, Homestuck could be written by Shakespeare’s ghost and spun from pure gold and I still wouldn’t read it, because of the behavior of its fans. With they way they act, I wouldn’t be surprised if the comic has subliminal messages flashing with every new strip saying “BE A FANATICAL ASSHOLE!!! BEING A JERK TO PEOPLE IS FUN!!! KILL ANYONE WHO DISAGREES!!!”
And yeah… poor West. I empathize with him a lot.
I used to read homestuck (and like it) but like a lot of people who loved problem sleuth and such, the fans were (and are) the biggest damn problem and embarassment. No one sane wants to be associated with them.

I think West really does have it the best, aside from possibly Bina. Honestly sometimes the best you can hope for is the other party ignoring the elephant in the room (as opposed to being kicked out, which I’m pretty sure is what happened to Abel)
West’s situation kinda reminds me of that awful moment in the Breakfast Club, “…They ignore me.”
Also Homestuck fans have guaranteed I’ll probably never read the thing. The only thing worse is Homestuck cosplay… Dozens of them at the same convention.

West is a kid that needs help, and his parents treat him like a freak. Combine this with what he’s already had to do, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s the one who snaps first.
I can’t really find any resemblance between Abel and Dave, attitude or appearance, they don’t even have similarly shaped glasses. That being said, I’m a fan of Magnolia Porter and Andrew Hussie.

The sunglasses, the hoodie. Abel is a Tip Top Mega Cool kid from the 90′s. You know he has pogs. Every time he makes an appearance, Ducktales starts to play.
Let me just say that it doesn’t matter what web comic you are inclined to read, but you shouldn’t be swayed from reading it because of other people who read it and like it (maybe a little too much, even). Every fan base has its bad apples, and its always the bad apples that give the rest of the fan base a bad name.
On more important matters… Loving every update Magnolia! :> please keep it up!
