It’s possible that greenie decided to crawl off and search for his/her host. You know how Ayo knew where Bina was even thogh she didn’t know Binas address? I think every monster has the same kind of ‘homing beacon’ back to their host.

And maybe Guuz just moved Greenie, or returned it? Either way, it’s crying, and they should be able to follow their ears to him/her.
If Greenie did take off to find his/her host it couldn’t have gotten far.
Plus I’ve been wondering…
If Greenie looks like a caterpillar and it’s host is a baby…
Does that mean when the child hits puberty it turns into a cocoon and when it becomes an adult it becomes a butterfly or moth?

I like that idea as well.
Although realistically, it will be far, far into the storyline and comic timeline wise before the kid hits puberty and the protagonists will be young adults by then.
Alternatively, maybe the reason why they can’t find greenie is because it went into chrysalis stage right now?
That would be interesting, and I understand how long it would take for the whole metamorphosis to occur, I was just kinda hoping Magnolia would do a fast-forward to 13 years in the future assuming there’s no cure for the monsters…
