  1. Raven says:

Man West, the scary silhouette people have it in for you don’t they?

  2. Glare says:

    It’s the parents! RUUUUUUUN!

  3. DoubleW says:

It’s okay, I’m just watching your child while he sleeps.

  4. Jon says:

To reduce the risk of SIDS, the National Institutes of Health recommends that infants sleep on their backs with no pillows, blankets or other loose soft objects in the crib. There’s no recommendation regarding monsters, so that’s up to the parents’ discretion.

  6. Danke says:

This scene reminds me of Raising Arizona

When is someone going to show up and say “Give me back that monster baby, you warthog from hell”

  7. Ember says:

Aw…the baby and its monster are cute…

  8. Lauren says:

Such a cute page. I just really love Monster Pulse.

Just realized that greenie could throw his voice so that if greenie is hidden, it’ll be just like normal speech… how cute would it be to have the baby grown up take greenie to school in his backpack? Gosh I wanna see art of that <3

    • Fawn says:

Also, if the monsters have individual personalities from their people, will Greenie be able to speak TO his person as well as for him? I mean, will he be able to control what he’s saying? That’d be interesting to find out.

  9. smjjames says:

Love the oh crap look on his face in the last panel.

Hopefully they’ll be understanding. Also, since Bina knows them mutually and they might know Bina as well, wouldn’t it have been better to have Bina do it?

  10. Oh no, the only thing that could happen happened!

  11. Garfunkel says:

West’s look of fear reminds of a Charlie Brown stress look. I like it!

  12. Beef Wellington says:

Man, Greenie, you really blew it with your big mouth there.

    • smjjames says:

He can’t control what comes out of his ‘mouth’, remember?

Anyways, the kid is greeting greenie like a long lost friend or something.

  13. Quetzalrofl says:

Wait, where’s the glowy spot on the baby’s throat?

  14. wwlaos says:

That is one hairy baby. :|

  15. MaryFilipina says:

…Welp, there’s nothing to do now but greet them a Good Evening and demand a cup of tea.

  16. carpetbag says:

Oh geez, the parents abandoned the monster in the woods, didn’t they.

  17. Kay says:

Baby Nguyen and Greenie are adorable ; A ; Cutest and saddest page yet.

  18. Jack says:

I actually think the smart move would have been to be upfront with the parents from the beginning. I’m sure they’ll just be relieved to have an explanation for why their baby can’t cry.

Then again, they are just kids, so I guess mistakes are to be expected.

    • Raven says:

Assuming the parents didn’t dump Greenie in the forest in the first place…

      • Jack says:

Your words have brought me sadness.

        • smjjames says:

Someone said on another comic page that they may have been attacked by the arma ghost and didn’t realize it or they got separated from it somehow or they might have gotten scared at that time.

We don’t know whether they intentionally left greenie in the woods or what the sequence of events was.

  19. Phoebe says:

I’m confused – just how old is the baby supposed to be? I thought from the story it was supposed to be a month or two old?

    • Raven says:

I think it is… but it does look older. Can’t complain much though because I can’t draw babies that well myself.

  20. Calypso says:

  21. Acolyte says:

As long as he has that shirt, West always has a plan B.

“What are you doing here little boy-”

  22. Fang says:

The parents will probably be all “holy shit our baby is making noise again thank you so much”. …hopefully.
